Thankful Thursday #20 – April 2015

Good Thursday evening and welcome to my monthly Thankful Thursday post!

Now that spring is in full effect maintaining the trees and garden on our little homestead requires much more time! In addition to homesteading, my new ‘Infusio Interviews‘ feature has taken up a significant amount of time and to add to the fun I started nutrition school at the beginning of this month…Whew!!

If he had a Western Blot test, did it show positive for Lyme according to CDC standards?

No

Was he misdiagnosed with anything else prior to Lyme diagnosis?

Yes, we saw so many doctors. We had a lot of differing opinions and no one really suspected Lyme until we saw a Lyme literate doctor. Continue reading

Horray for Native Bees!

I’ve been paying more attention to the native bees in our orchard this year and it’s been really neat to watch all the different bees visit and pollinate the blossoms. Some are so tiny, I almost mistake them for a fly or gnat!

High Ground Organics is a local farm that I receive weekly updates from about their CSA offerings and other news of what’s happening around the farm. This week, they included this very cool article about a research study they participated in back in 2012.

I found it super interesting and thought it was “share-worthy” 🙂 Enjoy!
