After Infusio – Richard’s Immediate Update

While Richard was receiving treatment, his mom, Terri, emailed me periodically. It was really nice to share some of their experience! She was super quick about answering my questions and replied within a week after returning from Infusio……so thankful for her timely response!

I thought about Richard while they were in Germany. I can’t imagine being 16 and spending my spring break getting medical treatment instead of hanging out with my friends! In spite of that, it sounds like Richard was extremely thankful his parent’s were able to get him treatment that will keep him from having to ever deal with Lyme again!

They stayed at Couva during their entire time in Frankfurt and she really enjoyed the neighborhood, like I did. She was sweet enough to send me a few pictures to share. I have to say their room looked more well furnished than the one I stayed in and I’m jealous of the cool patio it had 🙂

Terri drove them to France during their weekend off and they visited Strasbourg. She said –

“It is so amazing!! Richard is very happy here. I love the French language and so does he. The architecture is so beautiful and there is a lot going on. So charming!”

She felt this was a well needed “distraction” from the treatments. I totally agree! I hope you find her answers helpful!

Treatment Dates: April 13 – April 24, 2015

Was the administrative staff in Frankfurt helpful?

Yes, Jasmin was on vacation the 2 weeks we were there, and Michael’s nurse Nadine was sick the first week so it did feel a little short-staffed.

Did you feel Michael Wittstadt and Nadine Flemming were competent care providers?

They were great, and we felt they were extremely competent.

Was it easy to communicate with everyone at the clinic?

Yes

Were any questions and/or concerns you had during treatments addressed?

I asked a lot of questions, and they always took the time to make sure I understood the answers.

Did he have any type of bodywork? If so, which type?

Yes foot reflexology, and cranial sacral therapy.

What microbes did the Global Diagnostics find?

Candida, Babesia, and Lyme Disease.  There were other parasites as well.

Did the Global Diagnostics find any heavy metals? If so, did he receive treatment for those?

No, he had heavy toxins.

Did the Global Diagnostics find any health issue you weren’t aware of? If comfortable, please share.

Not really, no, but we were surprised that the toxins were that high.

Did his final Global Diagnostics still show Lyme and/or co-infections?

No ☺

How did he feel during your treatments?

Fine during the treatments, especially the first week.  The second week he was a lot more tired and really laid low in bed, reading.

Did some or all of his main symptoms improve or resolve after treatment?

It’s too early to tell.

If he still has symptoms, please list your top 5-10 symptoms and rate each on a scale of 1-10. (1 = mild and 10 = severe)

Fatigue –  6

Please rate his overall well-being immediately after treatment, using a percentage. For example, 100% would be in perfect health and symptom free.

It’s too soon, he was good the first 2 days and then the 3rd day home, he crashed.  He was doing way too much, so I am dialing it back.

What continuing care did  Michael recommend on your last day of treatment?

Healthy diet, Vitamin D, Curcumin and lots of rest, especially for the next 90 days.

On a scale of 1 – 10 (1 = terrible and 10 = excellent) please rate the accommodations Infusio provided?

7 – the apartment was very comfortable and so nice to have a little kitchen. The area was great to walk around, especially for the care giver!

On a scale of 1 – 10, (1 = terrible and 10 = excellent) how would your rate the overall experience at Infusio?

7  – only because it was a bit hectic the first week.  The second week was much smoother with an extra nurse.

If you have any encouraging words for Terri or Richard, please leave a comment. You can read his ‘Pre-Infusio’ questions here.
