Easy Cuban Hash

This is a delicious, quick and easy, one skillet recipe. I typically get a pound of ground pork each month from my meat CSA. I’ve never been a big fan of pork, except for bacon, I love bacon! The CSA has encouraged me to try new things and broke the monotony of eating the same type of meat. If you don’t eat pork, you can easily use ground turkey instead. I found the original recipe at Pork Be Inspired. It was a little boring for my taste, so here’s my version. As always, try to use organic ingredients 🙂Easy Cuban Hash

Peanut (or Almond) Butter Cups

Years ago, candy was almost a food group for me, I’d eat some every day! Working next to a 7-11 helped maintain my sugar habit. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups were one of my favorites.

I still enjoy homemade, healthy sweets every now and then. I love it when I find a treat has ingredients full of healthy fat, and nothing fake, or processed.

I found a recipe awhile back from Oatmeal with a Fork that I tweaked to satisfy my taste buds. It is quick, easy, and doesn’t even require using your oven!

It’s so simple, I bet many of you have the ingredients in your pantry right now. I usually make a double batch because we practically inhale them! I’ve made them for guests, and they are always a big hit. So don’t file this away for later, make it now, you won’t be disappointed! Continue reading
