How was she diagnosed?
Bio-resonance Feedback at the Infusio Clinic in Beverly Hills
If she had a Western Blot test, did it show positive for Lyme according to CDC standards?
Yes, we had the Western Blot and it showed positive. We did the test to confirm Infusio’s diagnosis.
Was she misdiagnosed with anything else prior to her Lyme diagnosis?
Yes. Juvenile Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, IBS, and Thyroid issues
Does she, or you, remember a tick bite and/or bulls eye rash?
No
How long do you think she’s been infected?
In 2011, she started getting sick with inflamed tonsils. Antibiotics that were used to treat the sore throat and inflamed tonsils did not have an effect. Found out why the antibiotics used did not help through genetic testing 23 and Me
What treatments has she tried? If possible, please list what medications, herbs, and/or supplements she’s taken.
Whatever we tried for joint and muscle pain would work for only a couple of months. We tried a clean diet of 70% fruit and veggies and 30% protein. Supplements, probiotics, Celebrex, and cleansing.
Do you feel any of her current and/or prior treatments helped?
Cleanse and diet helped with stomach issues.
Please rate her overall well being at this time, using a percentage. For example, 100% would be in perfect health, and symptom free.
30-40%
Please list her top five to ten symptoms, in order of severity. Give a rating of pain and/or severity, if possible. (1=mild to 10=severe)

Why did you choose to get her treatment at Infusio?
We felt it was a safer and quicker option than the traditional Western medicine protocol of weekly antibiotic infusions. We also feel there will be less long term side effects
What is her/your Infusio treatment goal?
To return to the normal life of a teenage girl
If you’d like to share anything else, please include it here.
Jen, we’d like to ‘Thank You’ for starting this blog. It has been a great resource for us in deciding on McKenzie’s course of treatment. Hearing everyone’s story has been a big help. Thanks to everyone for sharing.
Check out 23 and Me – gene testing. We got the results for McKenzie and found out she has a number of double mutations. Her body cannot absorb supplements and antibiotics do not have the same effect unless they are methylated. Methylation is needed for the nutrients to be able to be absorbed in the mitochondria.
Thank you Amanda for the kind words, you guys are so awesome to share! Please feel free to share any well wishes for McKenzie in the comments! If you’re interested in how we got connected you can click here.
