Maui Here I Come!

The island of Molokini, we will be taking a snorkeling trip here!

Tomorrow, my husband and I are leaving for a long awaited and belated 15th anniversary celebration/vacation to Maui! This trip was originally scheduled for October 2014 but instead we traveled to Infusio for my Lyme treatment.

I think we made the right decision to delay this trip because it will be my first trip in almost 3 years without having to lug all kinds of meds and supplements with me!!

THANK GOD!

It will also be awesome to not wonder if I will feel sick or have Lyme flare up!

We are going to do lots of reading (I’m bringing four books!) lounging, snorkeling, and exploring during this trip. We are looking forward to driving the road to Hana and watching the sunrise at Haleakala National Park. I’m excited to visit Surfing Goat Dairy and plan to visit some farmers markets to sample the yummy, local food 🙂

I’ve also decided to take a “technology fast” while I’m away. Thankfully, I can schedule posts in advance and thought this would be good time to share some of the interesting things I’ve learned in school about digestive philosophy and nutritional biochemistry. I’ll also be sharing about my bees and more Infusio interviews.

My posts will publish at the same time each day, 8:30 EST/5:30 PST so be on the lookout for them. As the Hawaiian’s would say “Mahalo” for reading and if you find them interesting please share 🙂

I’ve been to Maui once before but it was a very short trip and almost 18 years ago! If you’ve been and have any “must do” things please share them with me in comments. I’ll check them before I board the plane tomorrow!

Do you have any fun summer vacation plans? I’d love to hear where you’re headed this summer!
