Deodorant
For the ladies – Clay Dry Original by Adama Minerals or Primal Pit Paste
For the guys – Dusk Deodorant by Herban Cowboy – my husband says this works just as good as his old, toxic brand 🙂
Body Wash and Hand Soap
Dr Bronner’s Magic Soaps – these are highly concentrated and should be diluted before use. A 32 oz bottle last’s forever!
Shampoo and Conditioner
Kevin Murphy – expensive so I don’t use it often, except when I want to have a super amazing hair day!
Sunscreen
California Baby SPF 30+ Water Resistant Sunscreen Lotion
Reflect by Cosmedix – this is the only sunscreen that’s never caused my face to break out, and it’s not greasy! It’s expensive, so I only use it on my face.
Facial Care
Castor Oil, Olive Oil, or Coconut Oil – I’d like to try the oil cleansing method I’ve heard rave reviews from friends.
Osmosis Pur Medical Skincare is the best option I’ve found if you want an anti-aging options. It’s not 100% free of chemicals, but it’s the least harmful option out there that works.
The best source for checking ingredients in your products is Environmental Working Groups Skin Deep Database. It’s an extremely helpful resource I’ve used for many years.
