Infusio – Day Six and Seven

My second week in Germany is moving right along! Monday was a rainy day that included some thunder, which was pretty exciting! I miss thunderstorms like I experienced growing up in Michigan.

We moved into the apartment next to Infusio that morning. I do miss the cute neighborhood where Couva was located however, it’s been very nice to have a full kitchen, bath tub, and lots of natural light. It also is not constantly 78 degrees in this apartment, so we’ve been sleeping much better, which is wonderful! Here’s some pictures of the Infusio apartment.

Infuiso – Day Four and Five

Wow, I’ve completed a week of treatments, it’s gone by fast! So far I’m still feeling pretty good.

I’ve had a mild rash breakout on most of my face and neck. Thankfully the bumps are really tiny, and not very red or itchy. I’ve had this type of rash on and off in the past, but it’s been at least a year since it last appeared. I’ve also been more tired than usual since the stem cell blood draw. Thankful Thursday #5 – Adventures

Today I’m thankful for adventures in life! This last-minute trip to Germany for treatment a Infusio has been one of the biggest adventures of my life.

Tomorrow marks one week since our arrival in Frankfurt, and it’s been a very unique, and exciting experience. I’ve done things I never imagined like visit Germany, eat Grie Soß, have multiple IV infusions in one day, and get almost a half pint of blood drawn at a stem cell clinic (more about that experience in tomorrow’s post!).

I’ve been feeling pretty good since we arrived, so we decided to adventure to Paris this weekend to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary a few days early!

Another thing I’m thankful for today is the opportunity to have treatment at Infusio. I hope sharing my experience with whoever is willing to read my blog, finds it helpful, and it encourages you to be adventurous too!

How about you? What are some of life adventures that you’re thankful for? Share them with me in the comments.
